Sienna joined the Fairhaven Acushnet Land Preservation Trust (FALPT) in 2026 and is excited to support the organization’s mission of protecting the natural landscapes, wildlife, and open spaces of Fairhaven, Acushnet, and surrounding communities.
A proud member of the Rappahannock Tribe of Virginia, Sienna has a lifelong appreciation for nature and a deep passion for conservation and environmental education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Manhattanville College in New York and a Master of Education in PreK–2nd Grade from Lesley University. Before transitioning to land conservation, she spent more than 15 rewarding years teaching young children in public and private schools throughout New York and southeastern Massachusetts.
As FALPT’s Program Director, Sienna enjoys connecting people with the outdoors, building community partnerships, educating the public, and inspiring others to appreciate and protect the region’s natural resources.
Sienna lives in Fairhaven with her husband, twin daughters, and American Foxhound, Winston. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and walking local trails, bicycling along the bike path, cooking and baking, reading, and spending time with her family. She especially loves taking in the scenic beauty of Little Bay and soaking up the sunshine while swimming at West Island Beach. One of her greatest joys is cheering on her twin daughters as they play softball!
Sienna is also deeply committed to supporting her community. She has been an active member of South Coast Mothers of Multiples for 16 years and currently serves as Co-President of the nonprofit organization’s Board of Directors, helping support local families of twins and higher-order multiples.
